Our Policy
Excuses and KARMA !

When customers try shoes or garments knowing that they are not buying them, aside from showing lack of honesty they might cause some other harm to the business, since the seller can’t attend other customers or errands or keep an eye on shoplifters. Each time shoes are tried without a purchase they ware out and their value decreases. So if you have doubts or concerns with a budget please ask or check the price-list before you try.

Customer lies, misbehavior and excuses (that 90% of the times are white lies) as ridiculous as they might be, may reflect who the person is and his/her intentions or deeds. The seller can deny access, file a complaint, call the police or charge for the damages they caused. We have compiled a common partial white lie list that shows how ridiculous and disrespectful a person is, specially after trying more then about 8 items without purchase or staying in the store for a long time:

1) I have to rush to a class or appointment
2) I have to ask my spouse
3) I have to think with what dress to match it
4) It is too tight, too loose, too high and too low. (maybe it is too tight to the budget)
5) I don’t have the money with me
6) I thought you have Diners or JCB
7) I don`t like the official rate that the credit card is charging
8) I have to think (some customers think that maybe in that way will get a discount)
9) If there is no discount I don`t buy
10) Others sell it in lower price
11) It is for a friend
12) I don`t understand the language or don`t agree with the culture
13) There is a damage to the shoe (might be scratched on purpose or not on purpose)
14) I don`t like the seller, the neighbourhood or the store ambience
15) It is too hot or my foot are swollen I should come later
16) It is too heavy or bulky, I can`t take it with me
17) I have the doubt between one style and another
18) We have just arrived
19) I have to ask my teacher or my guide or my friend
20) I don`t like the sole
21) I don`t like the company policy
22) It is too flexible
23) It is too rigid
24) I bought already so many shoes
25) You don`t have half sizes
26) I got in for the A/C or because it is raining outside
27) You don’t have the right heel

These are mostly excuses that show lack of honesty taking into account that all questions
and concerns could be mentioned before waring out the shoes or garments. If the customer is really hesitating and respectful one way of showing seriousness is purchasing something small or making a down payment. Some people say it is good for the Karma. We respect customer honesty and our way of showing it is displaying a price-list and charging the same from foreigners than locals whereas many other places don’t.
